The personal papers of Edwin "Ed" J. Saugestad, Augsburg class of 1959, who serves as a coach from 1959 to his retirement in 1996. From the Augsburg Now Spring 1996 issue: "won three NAIA national titles at Augsburg — in 1978, 1981 and 1982. He was a six-time MIAC conference coach of the year and two- time NAlA national coach of the year. Under Saugestad, 23 players earned all— American honors." The Ed Saugestad Ice Rink in the Augsburg Ice Arena is named in his honor.
